Champ

Even though he is a Quarter Horse, he has the heart of an Arabian. 

Champ is a 14.3 hand QH who was born on my fathers farm.  For about 8 years he was little more than a pasture ornament.  When my father became ill, I decided to bring him to my home in powder springs.  Champ had never been in a trailer before.  In 2 days I had him ready to load and off we headed.

Even though champ was 8 years old, he had not been started under saddle.  I soon realized that he was afraid of just about everything and believed running and bucking was his best solution!  With many patient years of training, Champ has come to trust in my leadership.  He has become my liberty and horse soccer star and we have trail ridden many miles together.  I have used trick training to take his confidence to new heights and just added garrocha pole riding to his resume of brave new talents!
